Tawnee Walling is an accomplished nonprofit leader and passionate advocate for children and youth. With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, she has dedicated her career to the empowerment, education, support, and nurturing of young individuals. As the Director of Communications and Community Relations at Hero To A Child since 2016, Tawnee has played a pivotal role in promoting the organization's mission and fostering strong connections with the community. Her expertise in strategic communication and community engagement has helped raise awareness and support for the organization's initiatives, making a lasting impact on the lives of countless children.

Beyond her professional commitments, Tawnee goes above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of children. As a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, she has served as an advocate for four children, ensuring their best interests are protected and their voices are heard within the legal system. Tawnee's dedication and compassion shine through her volunteer work, exemplifying her commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable youth.

Tawnee's academic background further strengthens her ability to make a meaningful impact. With a Bachelor's Degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, and a Master's Degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, she brings a unique blend of knowledge, empathy, and strategic thinking to her role. Tawnee's well-rounded skill set, combined with her passion for child advocacy, makes her an invaluable asset to Hero To A Child and the broader nonprofit community.
